A majority of dreams that are never realized are due to the dreamers’ lack of faith. You cannot reasonably expect to accomplish your goals if you lack the faith necessary to keep you afloat. You are the vessel that drives the dream and faith is the navigator. It is difficult to get where you want to go without having the necessary faith and undoubting belief that you will get there. Time plays no factor here. It matters not how long it takes for you to accomplish a goal just so long as you hold on until you have reached your desired outcome.
When we set out to do something, it seems as if the world’s obstacles are placed in our path. In my opinion, I think that is a great sign. Anything worth having does not come easily. It takes work, sometimes extremely hard work but it is worth it in the end. When was the last time you gave something your all? What were the results? My third year in the real estate business was perhaps my toughest. I was given an assignment to sell out a 536 unit condo conversion. What my manager did not tell me was that the previous six sales people who were given that assignment failed miserably. I accepted the assignment with optimism and maintained a strong sense of faith throughout the duration of the project.
In less than 9 months, with hard work and the belief in oneself required to endure, I was able to sell out the entire five hundred plus unit complex. Faith is believing in things unseen yet working feverishly as if it was right in front of you. The reason I believe I was so successful is a combination of not allowing quitting nor failure to be an option and having enough faith in my abilities to make it happen. If you are having trouble moving your mountain, all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed. Not sure if you’ve ever seen a mustard seed but it is quite small. If that is all the faith you need to get through your trials and tribulations then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
Stop looking at obstacles as insurmountable. If you are going to beat the odds, you have got to have faith.
