Morning Cup of Joe – What They Think

“But what will they think?”

Have you ever sat through a meeting and an opportunity to share an idea came and went because you didn’t think your idea was “good enough” or would “make a difference”? Or was afraid to share simply because you were concerned about what others around the table may think? We have all been in that same spot. I made that mistake once and that is all it took for me to learn my lesson.

Your thoughts transform into magic once shared. Buried treasure is what I call thoughts that aren’t shared simply because you don’t want others to think a particular way about them. My answer to the critics; who cares what they think. You alone control the outcome of your journey. Commit to memory the fact that thoughts become things. Henceforth, if you share your thoughts, those thoughts will bear fruit.

There is a million dollar idea that you have kept secret for far too long. Your thoughts are just as valuable as the next person; it is time to share it with the world. Learn to expect that people are going to think what they want to think and feel how they want to feel; it’s natural. Everyone will always have an opinion. My opinion is that because opinions are free people share them more liberally. Don’t pay any attention to that. Do not be misled; I am not saying to not seek advice, I am saying to be careful who you seek guidance from.

What others think about you is none of your concern.

  1. I concur..experiences are teachers! .. – if you want something done you just have to get with LIKE MINDED people..even if it means all the like minded people don’t “look” like you! One does not have to necessary be constrained to a certain way of thinking – if it is not yielding any results- change your environment- change your outcomes! IT all works out in the end! who cares “what they think”!
