Morning Cup of Joe – When One Door Closes

I want to start off this morning’s cup of Joe by asking you to understand that God does not make mistakes. Accept this fact. Another fact I would like you to consider is that your path is already charted. Simply, everything that happens in your life is designed to happen specifically how and when it happened. Some might argue that our lives are simply based on our actions and reactions to an ever changing world. While there is some truth to that, I don’t want you to lose sight of the lessons we are intended to learn through experiencing many of life’s obstacles.

Commit to memory the fact that when one door closes, you may have to break down another one. Yes, break it down. Surely another door may open but there may be some doors that require specific “keys” that were designed specifically for those doors. If you don’t have a key, kick the door down! Sometimes we spend so much time focused on the closed door that we do not allow ourselves to even notice the window that may be next to the closed door which is typically wide open. Don’t spend time focused on a loss or how it happened, redirect that focus on finding new and creative ways to win.

Understand that God removes us from places and people that are detrimental to our growth as individuals. This happens when you understand and believe that God will never leave you nor forsaken you. He will make a way out of no way. You have countless examples in your life where that is true. One loss isn’t going to change that, no matter how recent. Understand that some relationships and appointments are seasonal and may have an expiration date.

Do not wonder why you were removed from a situation, just thank God for loving you enough that he removed you.

To The Top!
Joe Paul
