Morning Cup of Joe – Carpe Diem

No one can predict when their last day on earth will be nor can we prepare for it. Some of us are so stuck in a routine that we never stop to smell the roses. If we are blessed to see another day; we wake up, go to school or work, come home, eat dinner and repeat it day after day. Some of us take for granted the days we are blessed to receive as if we expect to wake up the next day. This expectation is not faulty yet it doesn’t allow you to stop to appreciate the gift that is in a day.

Live each day as if it were your last. By living each day, I simply mean that you should do the things your heart desires, go to the places you’ve always dreamed of going, be the person you were born to be and tell the people you love how you feel as often as possible. If you take control of the twenty four hours we are blessed to receive on a daily basis you can truly have a significant impact in your life and the lives of others.

Life is so precious and it can end in an instant. While we may not know how we will expire out of our earth suits, it is imperative that we maintain the understanding that our days on earth are intended to bring some meaning to the lives of others. When your final curtain call is made, would you have done what you’ve always wanted to do? Be who you’ve always wanted to be? Your purpose in life is to live without regrets.

You only have one life to live so make the absolute best of it.

  1. Way powerful, good brotha!

I live by this more and more everyday!

It’s as if the older I get, the hungrier I get for others to know what blesses me.

    1. Teronze,
That is truly what its all about. Every day presents an opportunity for us to get closer to their dreams. Some people seize the opportunity while others don’t. You are clearly seizing the opportunity. Keep up the great work!
