Do good things really come to those who wait? There are some people who wait a lifetime for that “good thing” only to reach their expiration date never once seeing the “good thing” they had been hopelessly waiting for. Most people are guilty of sitting on their hands while they wait for a miracle. Do not be misled, I am not saying that miracles do not happen because they clearly do and we are all witnesses. By virtue of us being alive is a miracle in itself. However, I am referring to being idle while expecting external forces to move on your behalf; unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way.
While I may subscribe to the fact that patience is a necessary tool required to experience success, I don’t particularly believe that good things come to those who wait. Should you be patient as the good thing is making its way to you; yes. Should you be working feverishly and tirelessly to ensure that the good thing happens in this lifetime; absolutely. Should you expect a miracle without doing your part to ensure that the miracle happens; therein lies the problem. You have got to go for what you know and claim what is rightfully yours.
I want to offer you a paradigm shift. Maintain the understanding and commit to memory the fact that good things come to those who wait after those things have been left by those who came first. Simply, all you need to do is pursue the good thing you have been waiting for and it shall be yours. While everyone else is waiting on their “good thing”, which could take a lifetime if it happens at all, you must take the initiative and claim your prize. Those who wait get leftovers and nobody likes leftovers. You cannot wait for things to happen you have to go and make them happen.
How bad do you want your “good thing”? How long are you going to sit there waiting while everyone else seems to be enjoying their “good thing”? There will be no better time to go for what you know then right now at this very moment. Don’t wait, waiting is futile.
