Here’s one thing I’ve learned since I’ve been blessed to occupy this earth suit; I’ve learned that you are going to fail at some things. I’ve learned that if you try at anything, you will always reach one of two outcomes; a win or a loss. While most people hope for a win, the chances for a loss are just as equal. With that said, I want you to understand that a loss does not dictate who you are nor does it dictate who you will be in the future.
Failure is not a person, it’s simply an event. While it is possible for a person to fail at an attempt at something, contrary to popular belief, it is impossible for a person to be a failure. Unless and until they accept such nonsense as their truth, which is highly inadvisable. Failure teaches us to go back to the drawing board and start again until the outcome is favorable.
Remember this fact; failure is not falling down, it’s staying down. Understand that you will encounter defeat; it’s truly a part of life. Allow your defeats to build character and let your bruises remind you of this beautiful journey towards success. Maintain a firm understanding that if you fall, getting back up is the only other option. Be humble through your wins and learn as much as you can from your losses.
