Morning Cup of Joe – Higher Standards

Stop settling when you know you deserve better. In my opinion, the word “comfortable” is perhaps the worst word in the English language. Well maybe not the worst but I certainly have an issue with the message that word sends to its receivers. To be comfortable is to be satisfied. To be comfortable is to be complacent. Winners cannot afford to be comfortable, satisfied nor complacent especially if they know they can do better.

If you didn’t know that a better life exists for you then you are exempt from the next statement. For the rest of you, since you know that a better life is on the horizon, why aren’t you working towards making it a reality? So many people are simply “ok” with their circumstances; for average folks I see nothing wrong with that. It’s truly their prerogative. But for you, the winner reading this message, the world expects just a little more from you. Where you are isn’t where you have to stay. There’s always room for improvement.

You deserve the very best and should never settle for anything less. If you truly understand whose you are, you would require that all of your accommodations be fit for royalty. Where you are is where you feel most comfortable being. Winners are never satisfied and are always looking for ways to improve themselves and their surroundings.

Don’t settle for less especially when you know you deserve better.

To The Top!
