100 Days to a Better You! – Day 7

Day 7 –

It’s hard to believe a week has passed since we began this journey of 100 days to a better me; progress is certainly being made. One of the must outcomes of my plan is to publish a book before the end of the 100 days. The toughest part about sharing your goals publicly is that you are going to be held accountable; I guess that isn’t too bad. Not only are you held accountable but some people who know your goals are secretly hoping you fail. It happens, it’s going to happen and there’s only one thing you can do about it; succeed in spite of it.

People who care, matter and those who don’t care don’t matter. The purpose of your goals should never be for the benefit of others. Others benefitting may be a byproduct but it isn’t the main ingredient nor should it ever be. Here’s something that has been sort of a running theme in my life, once I write down a goal and share it with others, something amazing inevitably happens. Wether its divine appointments that have already been set up or seemingly random people who want to assist, the stars align so that I can accomplish my goal.

Here are five steps towards accomplishing any goal. Write down your goals, write down when you expect to achieve them, share it with an accountability partner or the world, work toward achieving it daily and visualize accomplishing them. A simple formula thats makes a tremendous impact.

There are people who fear sharing goals because they realize others will hold them to it; fear not. You can either choose to be motivated by fear or driven by the satisfaction you will inevitably feel once you achieve your desired outcome; I always choose the latter.

I will publish a book by or before the end of these 100 days and guess what? You will not only hold me accountable, in many ways you are going to help me do it.

Praying for continued strength, discipline, desire and faithfulness as you continue our journey of 100 days to a better you!

To The Top!
