Day 11 –
As I looked over my 100 day plan, I started to evaluate it heavily. I wanted to see if I had set any goals or must outcomes that seemed impossible to accomplish over the span of 100 days. The reason why this is important to me and should be to you is because I firmly believe you should have at least one or two, maybe even three goals that seem impossible to accomplish. And clearly we know that anything is possible if you put forth maximum effort and stay focused on the end goal; even the wild and seemingly unrealistic goals you set for yourself. Somehow, someway they always seem to get done.
If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to take another look at your 100 day plan and write in one or two goals that you would be shocked if you accomplished. While moving, I came across an index card that I’d written years ago that detailed some seemingly impossible goals that I set for myself. Would you believe my astonishment when I looked at each of the goals I’d written and realized that I had accomplish every single one of them? Trust me I was just shocked as you are. Perhaps you’ve experienced something similar. I hope you have because it’s an incredible feeling.
My challenge to you today is to choose one or two goals that seem impossible for you to accomplish right now. Sometimes when we think goals are impossible because of the insurmountable hurdles we have in front of us. We’ll say we can’t do it because our finances are not where they’re supposed to be at the moment or that your relationships aren’t strong enough or that your weight loss goal doesn’t mirror your diet and exercise plan; whatever it is write it down and commit to it! No excuses!
Remember, you don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great!
89 days to go!
