We should be thankful for all things because if we give little thought to some of the blessings that we have/are experiencing...there is no way we can truely believe we DID IT ALL ALONE! I recall at times when I was so not happy with how things were being managed at a past job place; many days I would "say" to myself and others " I can not wait until this job ends". Although, I stil search for employment that fits with my professional goals, I have vowed to never be an instrument of negative thoughts concerning anything that is a BLESSING...as you stated...."ask someone whos been unemployed for more than a year"! WE should be thankful for EVERYTHING we had, have and will gain; nothing comes to us for no reason! :)

in general people are quick to "devalue" others without taking into consideration sometimes it is not about the messenger...but the message. I have learned to pay attention to the message and receive people as they are. I allow people to "devalue" themselves if they so choose, but as a BELIEVER it is not my portion to do so. when we do the opposite of what is usually expected by society we transform a part of ourselves that is so lacking in this world today- ACCEPTANCE, TOLERANCE...not everyone we meet is meant to bring value to our life...it just might be some are looking to be value by those whom they observed is value worthy . A penny may have no value to a man who have no reason to value it; but to a man who have nothing, a penny may be the difference between having enough to eat or begging on the street!

There's a lesson in that Chris. One must never formulate a response until they know the full story. I think I'll make that a morningcupofJoe one of these days. Again, thank you for allowing me to share my cups with you. It is my hope that it is adding value to your life.

As I read paragraphs 1 and 2, I was trying to formulate a way to state that you have to focus on forgiving as a process rather than an event. But then, when I read paragraph 3, you expressed that idea. So good job. And very true, if you hold on too tightly to things in the past, they anchor you from soaring upwards into your future...
